Zadar surprised me in the best way! 🇭🇷✨

Today we explored this beautiful Croatian coastal city by Tuk Tuk, weaving through historic streets, scenic viewpoints, and hidden corners that make Zadar so special. From ancient Roman ruins and medieval churches to breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea, every turn offered something worth remembering.

Experiencing the unique blend of history, culture, and stunning waterfront scenery that makes Zadar a destination unlike any other. There are boats and marinas everywhere. Part 2. Montenegro delivered a day full of contrasts—ancient history, breathtaking coastal views, and peaceful natural beauty.

We began by wandering through the charming stone streets of the Old Town of Budva, where every corner seemed to tell a story centuries in the making. From there, we stopped to admire the iconic views of Sveti Stefan, one of the most photographed spots along the Adriatic coast.

The afternoon brought a change of pace as we enjoyed the tranquility of Lake Skadar National Park. Gliding across the water surrounded by mountains, wildlife, and untouched scenery was the perfect reminder of why Montenegro is one of Europe’s hidden gems.

Then on to the old town of Bar where we enjoyed a local treat, pomegranate beer. Pink beer. It’s was actually very good after a day in the hot Mediterranean sun.

From medieval walls to crystal-clear waters and stunning national parks, today was a beautiful reminder that some of the world’s most memorable destinations are still waiting to be discovered.

Part 1. Montenegro delivered a day full of contrasts—ancient history, breathtaking coastal views, and peaceful natural beauty.

🏛️ Walking Through History in Olympia, Greece 🇬🇷

Last week we had the incredible opportunity to visit Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Standing in the very stadium where athletes competed nearly 3,000 years ago was one of those travel moments that leaves you speechless. The ancient Olympic Games were first held here in 776 BC and continued for centuries as athletes gathered to honor Zeus and compete for glory.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of walking the same grounds where history was made, imagining the cheers of spectators and the determination of competitors who stood in that very place long before the modern Olympics existed.

Travel has a way of bringing history to life, and last week was a reminder that some places are far more powerful when experienced in person. Olympia is not just an archaeological site—it’s where one of the world’s greatest traditions began.

This has become our routine. A celebration if you will after we travel and return home safely to Atlanta. It’s been 15 days. 2 continents. 8 countries. Over 1000 photos. Been awake over 24 hours. Grab sushi at the hotel and then to bed! 🙌🏻 With the anticipation of American coffee in the morning 🥳☕️
