Melba's Market is the product of lots of encouragement from a few very special people in my life. My mom and mother-in-law have really been pushing me to start creating art and gifts to sell! Many of you know that I am completely addicted to DIY and home improvement projects so it only seems appropriate. She always loved hearing about what I was up to in my life. Mother Ray was happy as long as ev

eryone else was happy. She just wanted everyone in her family to be happy doing what they wanted to do. So, when the reality of this business started coming together I knew right away what her name would be. Mother Ray passed away in 2009 at 95 years old. I spent a week with her right before she died and she was truly an amazing woman. Being the youngest of all her siblings she would tell us she had more friends in heaven than she did on earth. We just had to laugh but really didn't want to let her go. I was honored to speak at her funeral of how she lived her life and the humility she showed in her final days. I am honored now to share my talents and my ideas with her through Melba's Market.
