Just a few miles east of Historic Savannah, Georgia, Tybee Island will tempt you with its eclectic style, thriving natural habitat and easy-going personality. Kids love it too. Watch the shrimp boats scoop up delicious Georgia shrimp, just in time for dinner that night. Ride a bike on the hard-packed sand as enormous cargo ships glide on the edge of the horizon. Climb to the top of our historic 1773 lighthouse and see the world like never before. There are no high-rise condos to block your view. Just plenty of charming, colorful cottages, palm trees, unusual local shops, eateries and galleries to fit your mood. And flip-flops are the only must-have accessory. Getting around is easy too. You can walk, drive, rent a bike or even a scooter.

It's that time of year folks 🐢 ⚠️ 🐢

Tybee is a sanctuary and nesting space for the Loggerhead turtles. We can help tremendously simply by
•filling in the holes that we dig on the beach
•turning off our lights on the beaches at night.
Make this your motto and mantra May through September to help the mother turtles and the babies when they begin to hatch. May Tybee Island continued to be blessed.
