Ahh, southern charm. The folks at The Hideaway recommended a restaurant called Brief Escape, 2 miles from here. It's an old southern house open 2 days a week. On Mondays the menu is Spaghetti and "whatever else the chef feels like cooking". Salad, water or tea, an entree and dessert for $10 p/p, which you pay by dropping it into a coffee cup. Magical!
