I come from one of the seven pioneer families who originally arrived on Santa Cruz island during the 1940s. I am now a part of the fourth generation in this wonderful archipelago doing our best to protect the Galapágos islands. I started my conservation activities working as a Galápagos park ranger protecting the giant tortoises and land iguanas, as well as patrolling the Galapagos marine reserve.
Taking advantage of the extensive knowledge of the Galapagos flora and fauna I gained throughout that experience, I decided to become a naturalist guide. As a naturalist guide, I found a way to share not only my experience but my love for the islands with our many visitors. Currently, I have spent the last 13 years showing the beauty and magic of these unique and wonderful islands to all of the nature lovers that visit from all over the world.
