Next stop was Pompeii. We headed south from Rome to Naples and booked a tour of Pompeii with another tour company I wanted to try for my clients. Pompell is HUGE so unless you know what you want to see it can be overwhelming. Our tour guide had been doing this for 30 years so she was very knowledgable. I'd highly recommend to my clients! Such an archeological wonder to see!

One of the things that made our Croatia yacht journey so special wasn’t just the stunning coastline, crystal-clear water, or charming historic towns—it was the people.

🛥️ Traveling with 35 people on a yacht created an experience that was completely different from a typical vacation. We shared meals, explored beautiful islands together, laughed through new adventures, and watched friendships form along the way.

🛥️By the end of the trip, it felt less like a group tour and more like a family. The connections everyone made, the stories shared, and the memories created became some of the most meaningful parts of the experience.

Reflecting on the journey, it’s clear why group travel holds such a special place in my heart. Yes, you get to see amazing destinations, but the relationships you build along the way often become the highlight of the adventure.

Croatia gave us breathtaking scenery, but the people made it unforgettable. ❤️🇭🇷⚓

We transferred from Sibenik to Split our last day and spent the night in Split until flying out to Italy. Diocletian’s Palace is a must see site there.
Built in the 4th century for the Roman Emperor Diocletian, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the most fascinating places in Croatia, where ancient history blends seamlessly with modern life.

Our last stop where we disembarked was the town of Sibenik.
Strolling through the charming streets of Šibenik, one of Croatia’s oldest coastal towns, was like stepping back in time. With its stone alleys, historic squares, and beautiful waterfront, this city is full of character and history. We loved the adorable flags painted by children hanging throughout the town.

One of my favorite moments? Watching local kids gather around a fountain, laughing as they filled water balloons and enjoying a warm summer afternoon. Sometimes it’s the simple moments that make a destination feel truly special. 🇭🇷💙.

One of the highlights of our time in Croatia was gathering together for a traditional Croatian peka dinner at Hora, a beautiful organic farm in Stari Grad.

🐟🍴Peka is a beloved Croatian cooking method where meat, seafood, or vegetables are slow-cooked under a bell-shaped iron lid covered with hot coals. The result is incredibly tender, flavorful food that has been prepared the same way for generations.

🍷Sharing this authentic meal with our group made the evening even more special. Great food, local wine, beautiful countryside, and wonderful company—these are the moments that turn a trip into a true travel experience.

Day 5 on our yacht adventure along the Dalmatia coast. We visited the town of Primosten which used to be an island but in the 16th century it became a peninsula. Its definitely a beach town with beautiful beaches and picturesque sunsets.
Day 6- My favorite stop last year was KRKA National Park with its beautiful waterfalls so we made sure to go back this year.

Our next stop through the Dalmatia Coast was Bol on the island of Brac and no visit to Bol is complete without seeing Zlatni Rat, the famous Golden Horn beach that stretches out into the turquoise sea.
The walk from the Port to the beach is well worth it under shaded trees and gorgeous scenery along the way.
Whether you’re strolling along the waterfront, enjoying a seaside café, or simply taking in the scenery, Bol is the perfect reminder that some of the world’s most beautiful places are still waiting to be discovered.
