BREAKING NEWS: Splash Mountain, at Magic Kingdom Park, will permanently close 1/23/23 to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

We’re one step closer to going down the bayou as Walt Disney Imagineering reveals a new scene from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! 💚✨ In this scene, fireflies light up the bayou, leading toward the joyful sound of zydeco music, and on the other side is a band full of adorable critters.

Important update regarding Disney Genie+, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11.

At Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Genie+ will vary in price based on the date a guest is visiting.
Similar to theme park tickets, throughout the year, prices may be lower on less busy days and higher during peak periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas. For example, now through the end of October, prices will be $15 per Guest, per day on less busy dates, $22 on some of our busier dates, and somewhere in between on other dates (plus tax; prices subject to change beyond October).

At Disneyland Resort, Disney Genie+ will now be $25 per day when purchased in advance as an add-on with a new ticket or vacation packages. Single-day purchases for Disney Genie+ through the Disneyland app will begin at $25 per day, and may vary by date, based on demand.

Additionally, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney’s California Adventure Park is now part of Disney Genie+, providing guests with even more options to choose from when using this service.

As a reminder, single-day purchases of Disney Genie+ at Walt Disney World Resort are only available directly through the My Disney Experience app.

Today is the day! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens to the public at EPCOT!

Currently, the only way to ride this amazing ride is to either secure a virtual queue boarding group at the select times or by purchasing a Lightning Lane. For now, there is no standby option.

Pro Tip: If you have long hair be sure to put it in a ponytail. And if you suffer from motion sickness, prep accordingly!

Sunday Spotlight: Disney’s Riviera Resort.

✨Fellow agent Shannon recently stayed in a 2 Bedroom Villa at Disney’s Riviera Resort.

✨The 2 Bedroom Villa can sleep up to 9 people. It has one bedroom with a king size bed, a living room with a pull down queen size bed and single bed, and one bedroom with 2 queen size beds and 2 bathrooms. Bring the whole family- there’s plenty of room!

✨There are 2 balconies in this room which allowed them to see EPCOT fireworks from their standard view room.

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may be purchased beginning May 18.

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing tickets as early as May 12th!

Ticket prices will range from $109 – $199. The event dates are:

August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30
September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30
October: 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

DISNEY CHARACTER HUGS ARE BACK!

It’s time to embrace the magic again! ✨ Character greetings begin as early as April 18 in Disney Parks, Resorts, and Disney Cruise Line.

Finally after waiting for what seems like was forever we will get those sweet squishy hugs from our favorite Characters. That’s right! Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy. We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!
We are so excited to be able to share this news with all of you.
