✨Here are 5 things you may not know about my life as a travel agent:
1️⃣ I don’t travel for free! While it’s possible I’ll have the ability to earn travel discounts throughout my career (so that I have the ability to attend more research trips to get insider info for my clients), I pay for my personal trips out of pocket!
2️⃣ I’m paid via commission by the companies / vendors I book vacations through for my clients. And though I work SO incredibly hard with / for my clients prior to their travels, I’m not compensated until they get home from their vacations!
3️⃣ Though I recognize I post quite a bit about Disney Destinations, I’m registered with SO many other travel vendors as well (different cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, European vacations...). Many of my recent clients have been / will be cruising and relaxing at all-inclusive resorts. So, if you have a dream vacation destination in mind, please reach out - I’d love to chat with you!
4️⃣ It doesn’t take more time to work with a travel agent like myself. Its actually saves you time! As a travel agent I do the research for you, put together vacation proposals, make payments on your behalf, and create vacation itineraries to make your travels as easy as possible!
5️⃣ I discover most of my clients via social media & referrals! I’m fortunate to work with family & friends on their vacations, but I work hard on social media to reach new people as well. And when people recommend my services to others it means the absolute world! 🥰
