Guess what?! In about 2.5 weeks, I will be heading off to a different castle for a few days! I can’t wait! A little Happiest Place on Earth is exactly what I need!! (Now how do I tell my kids that I’m going and they aren’t coming with me… 🫣)

Want an inexpensive trip? Consider a trip to Washington DC! While you will see big city prices in restaurants, the Smithsonian museums have free admission! As well as tours of government buildings, like the US Capitol! There is so much to see without paying any admission or tour fees! We loved getting to share so much US history with our kids, including seeing the actual Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights!! And it was free!! (Tip: you will need to make some free timed entry reservations for some government buildings, tours, and museums, so make sure to look into that before you go!)

Pair all of that with affordable, easy to use public transit with the Metro and it makes for a great family trip!! 🏛️🚇

Happy Experiment 626 Day, aka Stitch Day!! If you want a unique dining option, check out the character breakfast at Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. You can have a Hawaiian inspired breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto! It’s perfect before a morning at Magic Kingdom, since it is just a short monorail trip away! 🌺
