Today’s adventure is something totally different for us — Discovery Cove in Orlando! 🐬☀️

We kicked things off swimming with dolphins (yes, really!), and now we’re spending the rest of the day just soaking it all in. This place is like a little island escape right in the middle of Florida — relaxing, exciting, and honestly just what we didn’t know we needed.

Just arrived at CVG—and this trip is all about spontaneity! ✈️ We booked our flight less than 24 hours ago and I reserved our resort room at 11:15 last night. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you don’t overthink.

We’re heading to Walt Disney World and yes, we’re staying on property—but this trip is different. We’re stepping outside of our usual plans and doing something pretty amazing . Can’t wait to share what that looks like!

Here’s something I just learned on my most recent fam trip in May — and it really stood out!

🧴 Universal Orlando Resort provides complimentary sunscreen, swimmies (swim diapers/floaties), and even water stations by the pools for their guests!

That means:
✔️ No stressing if you forget sunscreen — they’ve got it on hand.
✔️ No last-minute runs for swimmies — little ones can swim safely and comfortably.
✔️ And no dehydration on your rest day — you can stay cool and refreshed while you relax poolside.

As someone whose husband has had melanoma, the free sunscreen really hit home for me. It’s a thoughtful touch that shows how much Universal truly cares about guest well-being — both big and small.

The Disneyland Hotel is full of tiny, magical details that make your stay feel truly special—from the headboards that light up with fireworks to the nostalgic touches that bring Disney history to life. ✨

But my favorite moment? Laying in bed with Zeke, watching the real Disneyland fireworks right through our window. Honestly, seeing them from our resort room felt even more magical than Main Street. It was peaceful, cozy, and unforgettable.

It’s the combination of thoughtful details and unforgettable moments like that that make staying on property so worth it. 💫

✨ Myles and I were lucky enough to tour a 1-Bedroom Villa at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel—and now he’s convinced we need to become Disney Vacation Club members! 😂🏰
