Spring is a great time of the year for a hike. The flowers are blooming and the mountain air is sweet. This is Yellow Creek Falls, in Robbinsville, NC at 9041 Tapoco Rd, 28771. Parking is available and the hike is fairly easy to navigate. It is stunning and just a little more than an hour drive from Blue Ridge, GA. You won't be disappointed. Crazy Horse got some changes: it is now a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home! The pool table has come out and a brand new bedroom is in where that space used to be. I didn't want to give the impression in the video that the fireplace always sets off the smoke alarm, but when it is very hot outside it surely will. (But who wants a fire in summer!?) Our Story

Owned and operated by David Jenkins and Jeanette K. Rice Jenkins, who purchased the business in 2005, Above the Rest Cabins is one of the original cabin rental companies in the North Georgia/Blue Ridge area. Most of our homes are located in the beautiful My Mountain community in Morganton, just eight miles from downtown Blue Ridge, although we have homes in Mountain High, in Mineral Bluff, as well as one on Thunder Mountain just a few miles from major ‘must visit’ attraction, Mercier Orchards.

We live and work on My Mountain; we are physically present, full-time residents of Fannin County and so are here to serve should you require assistance during your stay. Our mission is to provide clean, quality accommodations for all budgets. We have no desire to be the ‘big box chain’ of cabin rentals; there are larger companies, and there are cheaper companies, but there is no company that will work harder for our homeowners and our guests. Our philosophy centers around the knowledge that no one will be as invested in managing your property, or attending to your vacation needs, than the owners of the company.

Having vacationed in this area since 1997, we are intimately familiar with the ‘off the beaten path’ places as well as the favorite attractions. Semi-professional photographer, Jeanette, is an avid waterfall and outdoor enthusiast, and is happy to steer you to some of the lesser known spots where you can relax and enjoy solitude, as well as the most popular swimming holes!

All but one of our homes are dog-friendly. Several homes will accept cats. We even have a guest who regularly travels with her conure. We believe firmly in the ‘treat others as you wish to be treated,’ and will do everything reasonable to ensure your satisfaction.
