A birthday trip we will never forget 🎉

Back in 2017, we got “stuck” on Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World… and ended up getting evacuated off the ride.

Of course, we joked that Disney was just making my daughter’s birthday extra special because how often do you get a backstage tour of a ride with all the lights on? Seeing everything behind the scenes was actually pretty incredible.

And the real magic? The cast members. They took such great care of everyone, greeting us afterwards with water, a Mickey bar, and those good old paper FastPass tickets.

It turned into one of those unexpected moments that made the trip even more memorable.

Throwback to our Greek island cruise in 2018 🇬🇷

One of my favorite memories from our stop in Rhodes was the private tour to Lindos. We climbed up to the ancient Acropolis of Lindos, one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island, perched high above the village with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea below. 😍

At the top you can see the ruins of the Doric Temple of Athena Lindia and other ancient structures that once stood as part of this historic citadel.

That moment at the summit, ruins at my side, and the sea stretching out behind. It was such a rewarding climb and the view was absolutely worth every step.

If you ever visit Rhodes, this is one of those stops that makes you feel connected to thousands of years of history and the beauty of the Mediterranean all at once.
