North Bay Christian Hikers Our mission is to experience the beauty of God's creation through fellowship with one another, doing outdoor activities.

* We are a group of committed Christians who want to share the good news of Jesus Christ in a safe and nurturing environment.We celebrated our 16 year anniversary during July of 2017.

* Most hikes are structured at a level for adults, but children are welcome on the walks and easy hikes. Both singles and married couples are welcome to join us for any of our hikes.

* This group is open to both Ch

ristians and non-Christians. Our hikes are rated from easy to strenuous. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions regarding our hikes.

* Our hikes and activities are usually in the northern San Francisco Bay Area and are alcohol- free. Please join us -

NBCH-Hike At Helen Putnam Regional Park, Petaluma, May 24, 2025

On Saturday, May 24, six of us did a five mile round trip hiking through Helen Putnam Regional Park in Petaluma beginning at the First Presbyterian Church. It was a beautiful warm day and we were blessed by our time together. Some of us have hiked with each other for over 20 years and some have joined the group recently. We cherish the relationships that God has develped by bringing us together for hikes with NBCH.

NBCH-Pomo Canyon/Red Hill Trail Loop, May 10, 2025

On Saturday, May 10, we enjoyed a beautiful hike beginning at Shell Beach along Hwy 1 south of Jenner. Three of us did a five mile round trip hike along the Pomo Canyon and Red Hill Trails. After the initial hike we hiked an additional two miles along the coast on the Kortum Trail. We could not have asked for a nicer day for this hike. The sky was clear and the views were spectacular. As always, we thank God for giving us this amazing hiking opportunity.
