It’s hard to find the right words when someone like Lauren leaves us. Soulful Soups & Spirits was never just a restaurant—it was a warm hug in the form of a bowl of soup, a place where laughter echoed off the walls and you instantly felt at home. And all of that beautiful energy? That is Lauren.

Every time you stepped through those doors, there was a vibe—an amazing, joyful, soulful energy that could only come from someone who genuinely poured love into everything she touched. You felt seen, welcomed, and fed—heart and belly alike.

Lauren’s legacy doesn’t need a brick-and-mortar to stand tall. It lives on in every person she impacted with her kindness, her spark, her spirit. It lives on in the bellies she filled with her incredible soups and in the stories we’ll keep telling about our time at Soulful.

She created more than a space—she created community. And that kind of magic doesn’t disappear. It lingers. It carries forward. It becomes part of who we are.

Thank you, Lauren, for every smile, every spoonful, and every bit of soul you poured into this city. You left your mark—in the best, most lasting way.
