Visit Bardstown We recently had guests that wanted to go around the court house roundabout 4 times. The song “Sweet Caroline” was playing and they didn’t want their tour with us to end.

For the 4th of July, CopperTop Tours celebrated by visiting Frazier History Museum in Downtown Louisville! The newest exhibit just launched celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary and showcases Kentuckian’s roles and influences in shaping the United States throughout the history of our country.

“I too am a Kentuckian”

Our guests from New Jersey loved the tour at Copper & Kings American Brandy Company! They talked about all the apple trees back home and was impressed with the Brandy and Bourbon they tasted!

A significant milestone was reached this week for Kentucky’s bourbon industry as Willett Distillery announced it has filled the first barrel at its new Springfield distillery, officially beginning production operations at the site.

The company selected June 18 for the occasion because it marks the birthday of the late Martha Kulsveen, making the achievement especially meaningful for the Willett family. The milestone also honors the legacy of the late Even Kulsveen, a Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame member who played a major role in shaping the distillery’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

Founded in Bardstown in 1936, Willett Distillery is one of Kentucky’s most recognized family-owned bourbon and whiskey producers. The opening of production at the Springfield facility represents a new chapter for the company while continuing a tradition that spans generations.

With the first barrel now filled, the Springfield site joins Kentucky’s growing bourbon landscape and marks the beginning of what will eventually become future bourbon and whiskey releases from the distillery.
