DollyBrook Resort 9 unique cottages, all different from the next, located just 7 miles south of Saugatuck, MI, 12 miles north of South Haven.

DollyBrook Resort at DollyBrook Farms is located on 40 acres of beautiful countryside land in Ganges, MI. We are located just 7 minutes from Saugatuck and Fennville, 15 minutes north of South Haven and 15 minutes south of Holland. Public beach access to Lake Michigan is only 5 minutes away!

No pose. No "say cheese." Just a kid who's been running around our sand pit for who knows how long, completely covered in the evidence of a day well spent.

Golden hour has a way of making everything feel magical, but honestly? His smile would light up any time of day.

Some families scatter across time zones and busy schedules. But every year, they find their way back to the same spot.

Parents juggling work calls and vacation mode. Teenagers who pretend they don't want to come but are secretly excited to see their cousins. Little ones who've been counting sleeps since last summer.

...how peaceful the world gets when you're moving with the current instead of against it.

Some families spend the morning on our trails, then slip away for an afternoon of river exploration. Others make it a full day adventure, packing lunch and letting the water guide their schedule.

Either way, they all come back with that same look – the one that says they've found something special just when they weren't really looking for it.

The river will show you things you can't see from the shore. And DollyBrook will be here when you paddle back home.

The boat's still in the driveway. The lake is still ten minutes away. But in their minds, they're already there.

"Are we going now? How about now? Now?"

Three boys. Three life jackets. Zero patience for grown-up preparation time.

They've been ready since they woke up. Sunscreen applied. Snacks packed by mom. Fishing poles claimed. The only thing standing between them and the perfect lake day is whatever mysterious adult stuff is happening up front.

Sometimes the anticipation is half the adventure. That buzz of knowing something amazing is about to happen, but having to wait just a tiny bit longer.

Soon, the trees will start to whisper their autumn secrets. Just a hint of gold catching the afternoon light. A touch of amber sneaking into the green. Nature's gentle reminder that her most spectacular show is just around the corner.

You know how Michigan autumn is – still warm enough for lake days, but with that crisp promise in the air that tells you something magical is coming.

October weekends are filling up fast, and we'd hate for you to miss the season when DollyBrook transforms into something straight out of a storybook.

When it started sprinkling, the adults looked at the sky and sighed.

When it started actually raining, the kids looked at each other and grinned.
"We're still going, right?"

Five minutes later, they were suited up in their rain gear, ready to conquer the trails like they were heading into battle. Because in their minds, they absolutely were.

This is ten-year-old logic: rain doesn't cancel adventure. It just makes it more epic.

Watching them pedal off into the drizzle, completely fearless and utterly determined, was the reminder we all needed. Sometimes the best stories start with "Remember that time it was raining and we went anyway?"

Six kids who all turned 10. Some birthdays deserve more than cake and candles. Sometimes they deserve a whole adventure.

When someone suggested celebrating all their birthdays together, the kids thought it was the best idea ever. The parents thought it was genius.

Turns out, double digits are way more fun when you hit them with your crew. No party planning stress. No gift bag competitions. Just lake days, campfires, and the kind of birthday memories that stick around for decades.

They spent the week convinced they were the coolest 10-year-olds on the planet. And honestly? They probably were.
