London is full of clocks, iconic skylines and if you are lucky your Mary Poppins dreams will come true and you will see the bird lady (there were birds on her but didn’t get a photo of that)!

The city of Bath - know for the Roman Bath - I thought it was just the pool you see in photos all the time - The Roman Baths was a full on wellness complex for the Roman’s 2 BC. They had the naturally warm waters from the hot springs - saunas, cold plunge pools, areas for massages, work out rooms. Bath in the 1800 til now was the resort town where people would rent a townhouse for the season. It was charming and had beautiful parks and lawns - filled with the locals enjoying the beautiful sunshine! We had the best weather for our trip in England. Behind the Townhouses (Royal Crescent) there are beautiful gardens to enjoy the sunshine and have quiet spaces.

A castle is not a palace - it was a fortress. Loved exploring this castle in Wales. You could see where the steps were going up the wall. You could see the holes for the floor beams. Imaging life here in the 1600-1800 was fun. This one even had a toilet seat to its indoor latrine. So thankful I don’t need an oven that big!!

I have heard, booked for clients and wondered about what are “The Cotswolds”. I looked forward to visiting them. What I discovered it was a way to slow down Anjou the country side - visit quaint villages, see lots of fields of sheep’s (we were driving and didn’t take photos), there hundreds of miles of hiking paths (I like to have clients take a day or two or 10 and hike this areas) and time slows down when you are here. Love that they still have phones in their red booths, but had to chuckle that the defibrillator didn’t want to stick out like a sore thumb. Honey colored stone building are the iconic homes/buildings in the area.

When your maiden name is Sherwood and you are near Nottingham- you go to Sherwood Forest! Such a great place for kids and families and Sherwood’s.
So see where your family is from - it is so fun!!

Calling all Pride and Prejudice fans - Chatsworth House is worth it!! So big, so impressive, ceiling painting are incredible, the painting of the violin looks sooo real, tapestries are amazing, and the gift shops rival Magnolia stores!!! Must do if you are in the neighborhood! Also loved Kimpton Clocktower in Manchester - they is a lock bridge if you want see one there also.

Evora is all I had hoped and dreamed it would be! It had Roman temples, huge cathedrals, quaint streets filled with locally made treasures and your typical town square. I love the white with yellow trim and red roofs! Also just wanted to give you a sneak peek of some of the incredible desserts that await you in Portugal 🇵🇹

I am so excited to be joining Virtuoso’s upcoming Study Tour! Can’t wait to explore Portugal and bring back fresh insights for my clients. A few aspects of the trip I’m really looking forward to are riding horses, pottery and cooking classes, as well as staying in incredible hotels/resorts. I am also looking forward to experiencing hidden gems and immersing myself in the region’s rich culture and traditions. 🌍🌍✨

Such a fun day trip to this small town in Southern Washington. They have over 75 murals in this town. If you are a history buff - this is a great couple hours stop with a number of missions to go to - railroad and Hops to name a few (turns out the Yakima Valley supplies 25% of the worldwide production of hops.
