Every ship has its thrills, the shows, the dining, the ports — but one of my favorite moments is finding that perfect, quiet spot where it feels like the whole ocean is yours.

For me, it’s a comfy lounge chair tucked away on Deck 4 if I'm sailing with Disney or that famous red hammock on Virgin Voyages. The gentle hum of the ship, the salty breeze in my hair, and the endless horizon stretching ahead…it’s pure bliss. I’ll grab a good book (or maybe just close my eyes), listen to the waves, and let time slow down.

It’s the reminder that vacations aren’t just about doing — they’re about being. Being present. Being still. And being exactly where you want to be. Where’s your favorite spot to unwind when you’re at sea?
