Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic has one main attraction, which will be virtual queue, set in the MetroFloo where you take “an elevator” to see the trial of Dolores Umbridge. The theming is spectacular! There are several times during the day to grab return times. It is a different process here than over at Disney. We can explain more when we help you personally plan.

The area itself is set in an earlier time in Paris just like the prequel to the movie series. There is an inside Big Top Show, which happens in the center of the area, and as a well done stage production featuring - look in the app for times. Highly recommend getting in line at least 20 minutes prior. There is an express pass lane, where you will go in before the standby people. There is a preshow, where you were standing, and then you go inside to sit down for the stage show.  We also saw musicians playing on the street next to the wand shop. And of course, there are several places around to use your wand, just like over at the other parks. 

Le Gobelet Noir is the walk-in Mobile Order place. It’s kinda set off in the back and you can miss it easily. The menu look great! We didn’t get a meal because we were full from eating just a couple hours earlier, however, we did get the black forest cake and specialty drink called Le Breavage Sombre du Gobelet Noir. It is fruity (like blackberrish) with popping pearls. Yummy! Cake was dark chocolate, rich and great to share.

We could see spending a good amount of time in this area!

We, my friends have dragons!!!!

Such a wonderous place — HOT 🥵 - but truly done well! It is one of the largest footprints in EPIC with three attractions: a coaster, a water ride and a flying type ride.

First Up and lunch at Toadstool Cafe

DK Mine Cart Madness we “rope dropped” to walk on because there is no Express Pass. Then Yoshi’s Adventure and Mario Kart BC. We did a few of the games, but not all. When you collect three keys, then you can play the big game. We did this out in Hollywood, but not here this time. Debbie forgot her Power Up Band - next trip -

Helios Grand Hotel has their own entrance with security and ticket tapping. Early Park Admission is one hour prior, however guests were seen going into the park as early as 8:40am.

There is a holding area, to the right, at Dark Universe to go to the Nintendo Portal OR go left to be just before Star Dust Racer to go to that attraction. The Team Members advise to go to Nintendo and get it done before the Public opening. This makes complete sense, to us, as it’s a whole area versus just one attraction. So this is the plan!

Their newest and closet hotel to at has you literally steps from the Park. There is even a Security Entrance at the back of the hotel, so you can go straight inside EPIC!

If you follow the world happenings, then you know on May 22nd Universal’s Epic Universe opens to the public. 😍

It been in the building stages since 2019, but was paused in 2020 when the world shut down for a while. In March 2021, construction resumed on first new park Orlando has seen in 25 years. While others have expanded adding "lands" or a few attractions, Universal was slowly creating a massive new gated 750-Acre Park. It’s rumored the investment, from Comcast, is $7 Billion. 🤑

We have been watching, via videos shared, the last few years as the creation took shape. In the last few weeks, we have been watching, via Social Media Posts/Reels, the Team Member/Family Previews show the finished product. AND in just 3 days, Debbie & Maria get their turn to walk into the Universe Portal, experiencing it all!🤩🙌

They're invited to a preview on Monday April 25th! We'll make an Epic Photo Album, placing all pics in there, for easy reference later. There is a high probablilty of a return trip mid-May, just to be sure nothing is missed. It will take more than one day for all the things.

Maria and her kids are enjoying the new Universal Resort today 😍 This is the sister resort to (another photo album) which both are close to

This is one of the three Universal Hotels which are not located in City Walk. There is Bus Service over there, where you can then walk to Universal Studios and/or Islands of Adventure.

Those with a trip centered around EPIC then these Resorts are for you.

LOCAL NORTH ALABAMA & SOUTHERN TENNESSEE PEEPS:

Debbie just learned that is flying every day in June and July from HSV to MCO. This is great news! Hopefully, they will continue to fill flights so it can continue. Right now it's 4x week the rest of the year. This is the only Non-Stop Direct Flight from HSV!

⚠️The deadline for having a REAL ID to board domestic flights, is coming up soon.

➡️ All passengers 18+ years MUST HAVE this with them to check in for flights out of U.S. Airports.

💥 Each state has its own specific requirements and procedures for obtaining a REAL ID, so consult your state's DMV website for detailed instructions.

The TSA will start phased enforcement of the REAL ID requirement for domestic travel on May 7, 2025. If you do not have a compliant driver's license, you'll need to carry a valid Passport or Military (or DoD) ID when you check in for ALL flights. There are a few other acceptable IDs, however these will be the most commonly used for those who do not have the star on their driver’s license. This site has a list of them:

Saying you didn’t know, will not get you on the plane. This has been discussed for several years and the deadline is here - no more extensions.
