Hey, you’ve got to AT LEAST TRY a stay at our vacation rental homes, before assuming that the Disney or Universal resort hotels are your best option, since we have TENS OF THOUSANDS of past guests who tell us they PREFER our luxury rentals!

Here’s when our vacation homes 🏡 outshine our competitors:

***You can bring THE WHOLE family, for meal time, pool time, down time, and play time in the privacy of your own home!

***Families with young children can accommodate naps or early bedtimes, and still play in the spa, shower, or watch TV without waking each other! 😮‍💨

***Most of the time, you can actually drive from these rentals, park your car, and enter each of the Disney theme parks 🎢 🏰 QUICKER than you could by taking a Disney bus from their own resort hotels to the parks! FOR REAL. That’s how close we are! 📍

***While resorts typically theme their main building and pool area, we find their hotel rooms to be lacking. But , WE THEME IT ALL so immersively at our homes, we think even Walt Disney himself would be proud!

Just look 👀 at this adorable boy’s expression!!!

What is he thinking 🤔?

…That he can conquer ANYTHING?!!

…That he and his family really are in this “together?”

…That if he just believes and perseveres, that all good adventures might truly end with “Happily Ever After”?!!

I started stocking costumes years ago when we first opened our first vacation rental, “Jabba’s Hut” in 2012…

Because MY 4 KIDS (ranging in age from 2-10 years old), wanted to play out THEIR imaginative adventures after we came home to the rental in the evening from Disney World, and whether they had met a pretty princess 👸 or a swashbuckling pirate 🏴‍☠️ , I loved to watch them just PLAY!!!

I am a mental health counselor (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), and I’ve practiced lots of play therapy with children over my career, and believe it or not, a child’s play is his/her WORK! It’s how they make sense of the world, try on new roles, and work through challenging emotions and tricky situations.

It’s actually SO FASCINATING to really watch kids play, and Walt Disney was clearly onto something, when he proposed that we needed a theme park where BOTH children and parents could enjoy good fun, and imagine, and play TOGETHER! ❤️

Anyway, I just received this picture from a guest who stayed with her family at our “Jabba’s Hut” house last week, and SO MUCH is happening in the mind of the little boy “wizard” in this pic!

So in short, we stock the rentals with costumes for kids of all ages and sizes, infants to adults, just because WE CAN. It costs lots of my money, and lots of housekeepers’ time laundering and organizing the cosplay, but this is what makes a family’s stay SO SPECIAL.

Long after this boy has forgotten the fun rides and snacks at the theme parks, he will remember the family costume night where grandma dressed as Princess Belle, and that he won his Jedi light saber fights with “Darth Dad.” ❤️
