This is random but I was thinking “why is it so hard to post consistently?” It’s a silly struggle that makes me die a little bit inside when i push “post”, but it’s a necessary evil of my job SO YOU DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME.

Recently, I have booked Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruse Line cruises, and of course Disney cruise line, independent and group tours in Europe (most recently Italy!). All inclusives in Cancun, Jamaica, and Punta Cana to name a few. Universal Studios is especially in demand with its newest park, Epic. And obviously anything Disney related. I have done many more destinations but I’m tired of typing this.

Here is a completely unrelated photo of me in Africa when I was little- for the sole purpose of having you stop and look at this post and wonder what weird thing I’m posting this time, when my goal is to remind you that I exist and I book All The Things.

Karen’s Saturday Night Dissertation

I can’t believe how lucky I was to get this opportunity. This new ship is absolutely incredible.
Restaurants are themed Marvel, Coco, and 1923. There are lounges and bars throughout the ship such as Haunted Mansion, jungle Cruise themed, S**t Cat, Periscope, Hei Hei… too many to name.
Two adult only restaurants onboard as well as an exclusive spa.
Adult only areas for the pool deck as well.
Theatres for live action shows and movies. Nightly entertainment that was incredible. We got to see the first live action adaptation to Moana and it was incredible! (We couldn’t film it, but everyone left with their jaws on the floor). We had to divide and conquer in order to get as much seen as possible in such a short time. In addition to my meetings, I was also able to stalk the Haunted Mansion designer, meet the director of Coco (and Nemo, Toy Story 2/3, Monsters Inc, etc) and the voice of Miguel, the original voice of Jasmine, current voice of Minnie Mouse and so many other cool people (ok, cool to me 😆).
The food was fantastic and they fed me well despite my allergies which makes me love them more.
There were so many activities to do that I didn’t have time to get to- I must go back obviously.
I should probably mention the kids clubs 🤭 but that will be a separate post.

Thank you, Disney, and for all those they made this possible!

We had a great time today at Disney Cruise Line’s private island, Castaway Cay in the Bahamas.

There are two main family beaches as well as an adult only area. Plenty of chairs and gorgeous, clear water everywhere!

There’s a kids club on the island, Scuttle’s Cove, where you can drop your littles when you’re tired of looking at them.

2 included eateries are located in the family beach zone, and the adult only area, Serenity Bay, also has its own included eatery too!

You can book excursions on the island as well- snorkeling, banana boats, tubes, bikes, etc

And of course, there are stores with exclusive Castaway Cay merchandise as well.

I freakin stalked this poor woman. She couldn’t outrun me.

She’s the original designer for the iconic Haunted Mansion black and purple patterned wallpaper. She was also with Walt in the helicopter viewing Florida as the land to build WDW on.

Her blazer had this beautiful embroidered pattern representing the Haunted Mansion. I told her her jacket was gorgeous and she said “thank you, I made it” and it took me a solid 30 seconds to realize she meant she MADE it. 😆😆😆😆😆
