Cats outta the bag…or should I say fish 🤔

405 Tackle and Fly will be opening up at 5115 State Rt 405 in Milton, what many of you have called Blue Heron for many years.

We’re so excited to carry on the over 50 year tradition of a tackle and fly store being in that location.

I’ve come to know many of you in the last 2 years while employed at the shop, but my history with the shop, and Milton, Pa goes back nearly to the beginning.

It’s where I got my first fishing rod, bought my first license, went regularly for supplies, and told many fish stories.

My wife, Laura, and I, are honored to be the next owners to serve the fishing community of my hometown and so many surrounding areas.

There will be a slight transition period as Blue Heron closes their doors, and we prepare to open ours.

We’re anticipating an early November, 2026 opening.
