Meet Grace Burton. Grace finds joy in the simple things—spending time with her dog, exploring new places, getting creative, and soaking up the outdoors. As a Recreational Therapist, she brings that same energy and passion into her work.

What she loves most about recreational therapy? "Clients often improve multiple areas of their well-being—sometimes without even realizing it—through activities they genuinely enjoy."

Grace takes a personalized approach to every session, focusing on building trust and tailoring activities to each client's interests and goals. Whether it's a group outing, a one-on-one fitness activity, or a game designed to strengthen social skills, she ensures each experience is both enjoyable and impactful.

Dancing with the Arc Stars is a fundraising event where local community members are paired with individuals supported by The Arc, a non-profit organization that advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event involves dance lessons and a competition where couples perform, raising money to support The Arc's programs and services.
