Fiji is not just another island vacation. Visiting the islands of Fiji can be a deep dive into the rich Polynesian culture, a treasure hunt for the smallest whitest, sandbar islands, an adrenalin rush of soft adventure aboard boats, planes, paddle boards, helicopters and horses.

Travel Pro Tip: I recommend at least 10 nights to experience different island destinations, cultural treasures and downtime.

It’s Friday morning in Fiji! We woke to the sound of rolling waves and bird song, will walk a couple steps to the beach, create new footprints in the sand as we circle the island to the Tiki restaurant and sip fresh pressed Fijian coffee under the palm fronds. Hopefully, the boys will climb a coconut tree this morning and bring us fresh coconuts with a straw. Life is beautiful in Fiji

Now is the time to visit Morocco, while the vibe is ultra authentic and before commercialism catches up with the travel trend. EVERY hotel was full and 60% of visitors are from the USA!

What surprised me the most about Morocco is how the cities of Casablanca, Tangier and Marrakesh are so clean & relatively contemporary while the medinas, souks , villages & deserts remain primitive and culturally authentic. Tangier feels more Mediterranean than Arab and Ait Ben Haddou feels like you stepped back in time( or at least onto the set of a movie! This is where scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed.)
HOT TRAVEL PRO TIP: Marrakesh has the most luxury hotels which provide a WOW factor, so it’s best to end your trip here. United just stsrted offering non- stop flights to the U.S. this week!

Just between us ladies…It’s worth a trip to Morocco just for the shopping! Fez is the center of handicrafts and the souk is a labyrinth of earth and wood, smells and colors that feel very “Indiana Jones.” In fact, scenes from the series were filmed here! This the place to buy wool land-woven Arab & Berber Rugs. Marrakesh is where you will find Berber beaded jewelry, embroidered cotton and silk kaftans, leather bags, clay handpainted pottery, silver, brass, woven purses, bags and basket lamps, stitched genie slippers, freshly tanned leather goods, dried dates, figs, spices, olives, genuine Moroccan oil. Travel Pro Tip: pack an empty duffel for all the souvenirs you are going to collect!
