Storms hit hard this week, and our hearts go out to everyone still without power or struggling to get back to normal. We got lucky — power's back (well was back, until 20 minutes ago)— but between spotty Comcast and working off our phones, we're still catching up.

Shoutout to the NIPSCO linemen out there running on energy drinks and fast food, working around the clock to get everyone back on. Huge thanks for what you do.

The moment they landed, Raymond Bernard and his team at Teamtransfers were there with a VIP arrival and private transportation to their beachfront room at Couples Swept Away — setting the vibe perfectly. Then Tom's real surprise: a vow renewal right on 7 Mile Beach, with "Paper Rings" by Taylor Swift playing as beachgoers and local entertainers joined right in.

Tom checked in with us almost every day of the trip: what he was drinking, what they were up to, and reminders of exactly why he planned it all. Moments like this are why we do what we do.
