From August 1 - 10, 2025 Gallup will host one the nation's oldest celebrations of Native American arts and culture in a massive showcase of arts, dance, music, rodeo, and more. Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Association was first held September 28, 1922.

Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Association | August 1 - 10

First held September 28, 1922, this 103 year old historic event brings tribes from across the nation in a celebration of tradition, arts, and more.

Pow-wow dances, art, food, and culture at Red Rock Park (825 Outlaw Road). Along with the artistic display of heritage, you willl also find the highly anticipated Ceremonial Queen Pageant, an all-open rodeo with junior and ladies competitions, a film festival showcasing Native American and Indigenous storytelling, social events like a wine gala on opening night, and even a 5k walk/run. There are also stunning parades through downtown Gallup, showcasing the variety of tribes participating in the event.

The Zuni Mountains are an outdoor recreation smorgasbord, with an extensive network of well-developed, well-maintained trails for hikers and bikers, as well as miles of current (and former) logging roads. The trail system consists of 186 miles of non-motorized trails, 28 miles of connector trails, and six new trailheads that are managed for pack and saddle, biking, and hiker/pedestrian.
