To my delight we took a family trip to Hawai'i my senior year in High School. I remember staring at the beautiful blue waters of Waikiki beach for hours not believing how something could touch my soul i

n such a special way. A short time later, my future husband and I made it to the Caribbean where we eventually were engaged (Punta Cana), married (Bahamas)and honeymooned (Mexico). Whenever our time (and wallet) allows, we are planning trips to the Caribbean. Nothing makes me say "YIKES" more than seeing online forums and messages from travelers whose vacations were spoiled because their resort or hotel didn’t match expectations.
