BIlt members can now use their Bilt Cash for Equinox Credits!

Gold and Platinum members get $150 every 6 months, Silver members get $100 every 6 months and Blue members, $75 every 6 months.

To claim your credit, you need to LINK your Bilt acct to your Equinox account and unless your emails are the same on each, the linking will fail. (I know this firsthand).

What can you use the credit for?

-spa services
-studio pilates
-personal training sessions

OR you can do what I did…

I converted my $150 credit for use at the online shop (only). I did this by submitting an “Equinox Gift Card Conversion Request” and got a $150!gift card emailed back to me.

And I used this $150 towards my new sneakers!

Sign-up bonuses are great because even if the card has an annual fee, you feel justified in paying it to get the bonus.

But how do you feel when the fee rolls around the next year and you don’t have the bonus to make you feel better?

I bet many of you feel like you should cancel the card and I am going to say not necessarily…

Think about these things first…

1. Is there a DOWNGRADE option to a NO FEE card. Doing that instead of canceling will keep your credit history and credit line (so ur utilization ratio) intact and won’t affect your credit score. Canceling a card does affect your score.

2. Think about whether any of the card’s benefits that you can EASILY use justifies the annual fee. Here I am talking about Free Nights, Free Bags, Companion Certificates, Flight Discounts, Statement Credits, Paths to Status, etc.

3. No to 1 and 2-just remember tha canceling an older card hurts more than a newer one AND if you will cancel, see if you can move the credit line to another of your existing cards (from that same bank) first.
