Denied for a card?

It happens to the best of us, even me. 😘

Just recently, it was one of my 3 who got denied for the first time.

Their credit score is so good, so it just shows, that score is not always the only factor.

And it may not be a definite NO.

Don’t judge me!

I pay the annual fee on 2/3 of my kids, American Express Platinum cards and take the benefits.

After all, why wouldn’t I when I make the money back plus some with the benefits. And on things that I would likely be doing anyway, like dining out!

Friends, you have four days left to use your $100 quarterly Resy credit.

I wouldn’t wait until the 30th because you run the risk of the charge hitting on October 1.

Dinner anyone?

Big buckets of Points and Miles should be estate planned for like any other asset.

Don’t try to deal with it when it’s too late. There are a lot of easy things you can do right now!

I know that there are many of you out there that have the card that gets the 5%/5x quarterly category bonuses.

AND! For the fourth quarter of 2025 AND the first quarter of 2026, GROCERIES are a 5x bonus category!

I foresee my bucket getting so much bigger these next two quarters! Yeah!

You can be a member and earn and redeem points in most of the airline and hotel loyalty programs WITHOUT HAVING THE PROGRAM’s CREDIT CARD.

The credit card is just an additional way to earn points in the program.

I am realizing that I think a lot of you think you need a card to benefit from the programs. U do not!
