Sometimes the best travel accessories aren't really travel accessories at all!

👉 Toss a few rubber bands in your suitcase before your next trip.

They take up virtually no room, weigh almost nothing, and you might be surprised by how often they come in handy.

A few ways to use them while traveling:

🔌 Wrap charging cords and earbuds to keep them organized
👕 Keep rolled clothing tightly bundled
🥨 Reseal snack bags
🧴 Secure toiletry bottles to help prevent accidental openings
🧳 Temporarily secure loose zipper pulls or small items
👚 Wrap them around hangers to help slippery clothing stay put
📦 Hold together just about anything that needs a quick fix

And because they're so small, you can stash a handful in a zippered pocket of your suitcase and forget about them until you need one.

🚢 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO CARNIVAL REWARDS! 🎉

Beginning September 1, 2026, Carnival is replacing its current VIFP Club with the new Carnival Rewards program — and there are some significant changes to how loyalty status and rewards will work.

⭐ What’s changing?
• Loyalty status will be based primarily on eligible spending instead of cruise days
• Members will earn Status Qualifying Stars toward Red, Gold, Platinum and Diamond status
• You’ll also earn Carnival Rewards Points that can be redeemed toward cruise fare, onboard purchases, specialty dining, spa treatments, gratuities and more
• Status will operate on two-year earning cycles
• Carnival will continue tracking your lifetime cruise days for its revamped Milestone Rewards

💎 Already Platinum or Diamond?
Carnival has transition provisions designed specifically for existing loyal guests. Current Platinum members will retain Platinum status through December 31, 2028, while guests who achieve Diamond by August 31, 2026 will receive lifetime Diamond status under Carnival Rewards.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR CURRENT VIFP MEMBERS:
You’ll need to enroll in Carnival Rewards so your existing status and sailed days carry over. With the new program beginning September 1, now is a good time to make sure you’re ready for the transition.
