🗽 ONLY HAVE 3 DAYS IN NEW YORK CITY? HERE'S HOW I'D START PLANNING IT.

New York has SO much to see, and the trick is not trying to squeeze every famous sight into every day. Grouping activities by area can save time and make the trip feel less rushed.

✨ DAY 1: ICONIC NYC
Choose a few big sights that matter most to you—think Times Square, a skyline viewpoint, and a Broadway show if that's on your wish list.

🌳 DAY 2: PARKS, MUSEUMS & NEIGHBORHOODS
Spend time around Central Park, choose a museum or two, and leave room to wander, grab a bite, and discover a neighborhood.

🍕 Day 3: YOUR NYC
Maybe it's the Statue of Liberty, a food-focused day, shopping, a walking tour, or exploring neighborhoods you've been curious about.

My biggest tip? Pick your must-dos first, then build around them. Travel times, timed-entry tickets, weather, and where you're staying all affect what makes sense.

🏨 BEFORE YOU PAY EXTRA FOR A DISNEY RESORT, ASK YOURSELF THESE 5 QUESTIONS.

A more expensive resort isn't automatically the better choice. It depends on how YOU plan to vacation!

🏰 1. Will you spend most of your time in the parks? If you're leaving early and returning late, you may not use every resort amenity.
🏊 2. Do you want resort days? Pools, recreation, dining, and atmosphere matter more when the resort is part of the experience.
🚍 3. What transportation works for you? Look at how you'll get to the parks and how much convenience matters to your group.
🛏️ 4. What room setup do you need? Sleeping arrangements, space, and comfort can be more important than a resort's category.
🍽️ 5. Where will you eat? Consider quick-service options, table-service dining, and how much time you want to spend at the resort.

There's no single Disney resort that's best for everyone. The right one is the one that fits your budget and how you actually travel.

✈️ STOP ASKING WHICH VACATION IS CHEAPEST. ASK THIS INSTEAD.

I completely understand wanting to get a good deal on vacation. Your budget matters! But the lowest starting price doesn't always mean the best value.

Before choosing a trip, look at the WHOLE experience:
🏨 What's included in the hotel or resort?
🚗 How much will transportation cost?
🍽️ Are meals included, or will you be paying separately?
🎟️ What activities or experiences matter most to you?
⏰ How much of your vacation will be spent traveling versus enjoying the destination?

Sometimes paying a little more upfront can save money, time, or stress later. Other times, the less expensive option really is the right fit!

That's why I don't believe in finding the cheapest vacation at any cost. I want to help you find the vacation that fits your priorities, travel style, and budget.

Okay, picture this…

You're walking through Paris on a chilly December evening. The streets are glowing with holiday lights. Beautiful shop windows are decorated for Christmas. You're stopping at a little café to warm up with a hot chocolate or coffee…

And the Eiffel Tower is sparkling in the background. 🥹❤️

TELL ME THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A CHRISTMAS MOVIE!

Because Christmas in Paris has a little bit of everything I love about holiday travel.

✨ THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Imagine wandering through beautifully illuminated streets, admiring festive displays, and seeing the city dressed up for the season.

🥐 THE CAFÉS AND PASTRIES

A warm café, a fresh croissant, delicious French pastries, and absolutely no need to rush through breakfast.

Can we make this a daily tradition, please? 😂

🛍️ THE HOLIDAY SHOPPING

Paris is known for its beautiful department stores, and their Christmas window displays can be an experience all on their own.

Even if you're just browsing, it's a lovely way to soak up the holiday atmosphere.

🗼 THE ICONIC SIGHTS

The Eiffel Tower. The Seine. Charming neighborhoods. Museums. Beautiful architecture.

And seeing familiar places with winter skies and festive decorations? It gives the city a completely different feel.

❤️ AND THEN THERE'S THE ROMANCE.

Paris already has that reputation, but add Christmas lights, cozy dinners, evening strolls, and a little holiday magic…

And it's not just for couples, either! Paris can be a wonderful trip for friends, solo travelers, or families who want to experience Christmas somewhere completely different.

🎁 BUT HERE'S MY TRAVEL-ADVISOR TIP…

Don't plan Paris around one picture-perfect moment.

Think about where you'll stay, how much walking you're comfortable with, which sights need advance reservations, and how many days you'll need to enjoy the city without rushing.

Also, remember that Christmas Day can mean altered opening hours or closures for some attractions and restaurants, so planning ahead matters!

The goal is to enjoy the magic — not spend your dream Christmas figuring out what happens to be open. 😂

Because the best itinerary isn't necessarily the one with the most stops.

It's the one that lets you actually enjoy being there. ❤️

Can I tell you something?

I don't think there's ONE best place to spend Christmas.

I think there's a best place for YOU.

And those are two VERY different things. 👀

Because let's be honest…

Some people want a white Christmas. ❄️

Some people want to trade snow boots for flip-flops. 🌴

Some people want Christmas magic at Disney. 🏰

Some want to explore European Christmas markets. 🇩🇪

And some people want to wake up on a cruise ship, knowing someone else is handling dinner AND the dishes. 🚢😂

NONE OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE WRONG!

But here's where vacation planning can go sideways…

You see somebody else's amazing Christmas vacation online and think:

“THAT'S what we need to do!”

But did you stop to think about whether that trip actually fits YOUR family, YOUR budget, and YOUR idea of a perfect holiday?

Because a vacation can look incredible in pictures and still not be the right fit for you.

🎄 IF YOU WANT…

❄️ Cozy, snowy, traditional Christmas: A cabin getaway or a city known for its holiday atmosphere might be your thing.

🏰 Full-on Christmas magic: Disney or Universal could be calling your name.

🌴 Warm weather and relaxation: An all-inclusive or a Caribbean cruise might be more your speed.

🇩🇪 Traditions, culture, and exploring: A European Christmas market trip could be unforgettable.

🗽 Big-city holiday energy: New York City or Chicago might give you exactly the Christmas atmosphere you've been dreaming about.

❤️ Family time without hosting at home: A vacation that takes the cooking, cleaning, and hosting pressure off your plate might be the best gift of all.

And that's why I don't believe in simply asking:

“Where should I go for Christmas?”

I'd rather ask:

“What do you want your Christmas to FEEL like?”

Relaxing? Magical? Adventurous? Nostalgic? Completely different from your usual traditions?

Once we figure THAT out, we can start narrowing down the destinations, the budget, and the experiences that make sense for you.

Because my goal isn't to convince you to book the most expensive vacation.

It's to help you find the RIGHT vacation for YOU. ❤️✈️
