🥁Drum Roll …. 👏 We are excited and honored to announce •THE WINNER• of our 2026 Huckleberry Haven Women’s Retreat. This trip is valued at $1,950 🥹 and this amazing lady will join us this August for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime in the heart of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. 🐴 Our crew read and cried through manyyy. It was not an easy pick and although I cannot share all the details about her journey of life, I pulled some of the nomination email from her sister who put her heart and soul into this nomination. 💐

“What makes somebody a good person?

Here’s my definition:

A good person is someone who cares deeply about other people because that’s who they are to their core—not because they expect anything in return.

A good person is someone who sacrifices for the sake of other human beings. They would never hurt anyone else for their own gain.

A good person is someone who would go to the ends of the earth for their family and friends. Absolutely nothing stops them from protecting the people they love.

A good person is someone who does not use their own personal struggles and trauma as an excuse to treat others poorly.

A good person is someone who is genuinely happy for other people’s success and happiness.

A good person is someone who is always trying to better themselves, and when they make a mistake, they do their best to make it right.

A good person is someone who is especially gentle and nurturing with vulnerable people—children, the elderly, or someone struggling.

Not only is my sister a good person, but she’s a phenomenal mother, a loyal friend, a dedicated teacher, and overall just a bad ass person to be around.

I would love to nominate her for the Huckleberry Haven women’s retreat this year.

She is someone who takes selflessness to the next level.

This retreat is the best possible gift I could think of for someone like her. She loves camping, trail riding, hiking, berry picking, and just having a good time with other people in the great outdoors.

But I think this trip is exactly the kind of thing her body, mind, and soul truly needs. Where she’d get the opportunity for rest and to actually relax—It would be great for her, and the other women would really enjoy her company as well.”

With our Hiker Drop Camp, you can hike into the mountains at your own pace while we pack your gear to a predetermined site in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Stay as long as you like, and we’ll be there to pack it out when you’re done.

Walk In/Out: $400/person
Ride In/Out: $450/person

Two Person Minimum for all of our trips.

You bring the gear, we provide the service. Perfect for the seasoned camper who has their own setup! 🌲✨

A huge shout-out to our incredible crew! We truly couldn’t do this without the hardcore team that shows up every single day, on time, no matter what the weather throws at us.
Work gets grueling. Some days, just one more minute of sleep would be a dream, but with a packed calendar, our team digs deep. Even when it’s pitch black and the wind is blowing snow sideways until you can’t breathe or feel your fingers, everyone pitches in. The horses still need to be fed, watered, and saddled.
Our clients might not see the 20+ miles you rode yesterday or know that you barely slept or ate before heading back out, but we do. We know that coffee and snacks in the saddlebags are the fuel that keeps this operation moving when the hours get long. We know what it’s like to go weeks without a shower, where getting that fire going, crawling into your bedroll and your head hitting the pillow is all that matters no matter the smell coming from it.
People see the beautiful photos, but they don't see the raw, gritty reality behind the "content." This job doesn’t make anyone rich, but it’s a way of life in what we believe is the most beautiful place on Earth.
To our crew: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. None of the "little things" go unnoticed. We are so blessed that this circle has become our family. You are the reason we keep pushing through the tough days to clock those 800+ miles a season. Thank you for the jokes, the smiles, and for being the heart of this team whether it be fixing fence, repairing the cabins, doing a supply run, cooking a meal, stoking the fire, vacuuming out a rig, repairing equipment, cutting firewood, filling in on the weekend, fueling up a rig, being the first up making the coffee, catching the horses... I could go on and on! YOU ARE THE BEST!

This community raised us, and now it’s our turn to help it thrive. We haven’t forgotten what it felt like to walk into local shops asking for the support that kept our childhood sports teams and banquets running. Today, we are honored to be the ones saying 'Yes' whether it’s sponsoring a Little League team or collaborating with a fellow entrepreneur.
