Worth It Wednesday: the private cabana rental.

Price varies by ship and itinerary, but you're usually looking at a few hundred dollars for a half day on a private island stop. What you get: shade, a dedicated server, and real distance from the crowd.

Here's my verdict. If you're traveling with a group of four or more and splitting the cost, it's worth it. Solo or as a couple, skip it and grab a free lounger closer to the water. The cabana isn't buying you a better beach. It's buying you privacy, and only you know what that's worth.
