For true explorers…this is next level.

The Canadian Arctic (including the Northwest Passage) is about storytelling, history, and untouched wilderness.

Put the Canadian Arctic on your list if you want to experience:
Inuit cultural experiences
Rare wildlife (narwhals that I guess are a real thing?!)
Legendary exploration routes, retracing the historic Franklin Expedition

This is the Arctic at its most profound…and least traveled.

Think you’ve “done” Iceland? Not like this.

Exploring Iceland by expedition ship unlocks a completely different side of the country. You’ll be able to visit remote fjords, hidden coastlines, and places you simply can’t reach by car. (And if you choose a ship with a helicopter, you’ll also be exploring by sky.)

Iceland is the perfect location for:
Puffin colonies
Wild volcanic landscapes
Zodiac landings in untouched regions
Excellent marine life sightings

It’s Iceland, but elevated, exclusive, and far from the crowds. I’m so excited about this destination myself, that I’m working to lock in my own expedition this summer.

Who wants to join me in Iceland this year?

Let’s be real, Greenland has been in the news lately for…the wrong reasons. 🤦🏼‍♀️ So, today I’m sharing all the good reasons for why this self-governing, autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark should be on your Arctic radar.

Greenland feels like stepping into another world.

Massive icebergs drift past brightly colored villages and the scale of nature here is almost impossible to comprehend.

This is the Arctic for travelers who want:
Culture + connection (Inuit heritage)
Iconic landscapes (UNESCO Icefjord)
A slower, more immersive pace
Adventure travel opportunities

👉 I also want to highlight an incredible and unique opportunity to witness the solar eclipse this summer onboard a Greenland expedition. If this at all appeals to you, reach out today because availability is extremely limited! 👈

Would you go to Greenland?

If your dream Arctic moment includes polar bears on sea ice… this is it.

Svalbard (Spitsbergen) is the wildest version of the Arctic. Tucked far into the Arctic Circle, this Norwegian archipelago is remote, cinematic, and teeming with wildlife.

Go to Svalbard for:
Your best chance to see polar bears in their natural habitat
Towering glaciers + dramatic fjords
24-hour golden light in summer

This is the expedition I recommend most for first-time Arctic travelers.

✨ Bonus: this is a perfect spot for group travel. And I know how to get you there for free (plus additional onboard credit for everyone).

Everyone is going to Antarctica right now, and honestly, I get it. It’s wildly, impossibly beautiful.

But if you want something just as unforgettable and far more under the radar… Well, let’s talk about the Arctic. ❄️

Having traveled to both poles, I can tell you this: the Arctic offers a completely different kind of magic. The kind that feels more intimate, more unexpected, and (for now) more accessible.

Here’s what no one is talking about:

✨ Fewer travelers = more space, more wildlife moments
✨ Better value (yes, really)
✨ And the biggest insider secret… 👉 You can travel free if you bring just 6+ friends
(Compare that to Antarctica, where you need 10)

This week = POLAR WEEK

I’m breaking down the most incredible Arctic itineraries with my trusted partners at , the gold standard in polar travel.

If Antarctica is on your list… the Arctic should be too.

And if you’re ready to book NOW for the Arctic 2027 season or the Antarctic 2027/2028 season, let me help you secure the early booking bonuses that are currently happening.

I’ve received this question a lot. So, here’s my answer.

Albania wasn’t on my original “must-visit” list. In fact, I’d never even visited before booking a one-way ticket and starting my next chapter here. However, I’ve learned that the most rewarding destinations aren’t always the obvious ones. They’re the ones that deliver more than you could have ever expected.

More value.

More authenticity.

More room to actually experience a place instead of just passing through it.

I’ve lived in six countries now, and I’ve gotten pretty good at knowing what to look for when it comes to finding a place that I can feel like home. Albania checked these boxes, so I decided to give it a try.

✔️Affordable, but still offering the conveniences I want.
✔️Incredible nature (coastline and mountains)
✔️Outside the Schengen Zone (huge for long-term travel)
✔️Safe and welcoming

And now? I’m not sure if it’s going to be *the* place for me, but I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the country itself. It’s been an incredible start to an exciting year, and I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to spend the last two months here.

If you’re thinking about Europe this year but want it to feel different, more personal, and far less crowded, I’d love to help you plan it.

Last week, I sat down (virtually) with some of my top travel partners across Europe. It was a packed three hours, but I walked away with a wealth of insider insight to share with my clients.

I’ve rounded up six standout offers that I’d not only recommend to my clients, but genuinely book myself based on what I learned.

All of these perks are unlocked when you book through a Virtuoso travel advisor… aka, me ☺️

Seven weeks, countless memories, and one very big reminder: the right people make everything easier. Even the unexpected chapters.

Who you travel with can make or break a trip. And not all trips are meant to be experienced with all people.

But for these seven weeks in Albania? Damn, am I glad enthusiastically said “YES” when I asked if she’d want to help me kick off my new adventure abroad.

P.S. this incredible human is releasing a book next week. Highly recommend everyone check out .

Who’s the person you’d travel with for 7 weeks?

In my last post, I shared some of my recommendations for summer travel destinations that should be on your radar. And for the last four weeks, I’ve been falling in love with one of those destinations myself: Albania.

Slow traveling in Albania has given me the chance to really settle in here. Long coastal drives, lingering over meals, mornings working with a view, and weekends exploring villages, beaches, and mountain landscapes that still feel wonderfully undiscovered. (Especially being here in the off-season.)

It’s also been a season of balance. Time to dig into my business, take care of myself, and experience a place in a way that simply isn’t possible on a rushed itinerary.

Albania is having a moment this year, and it absolutely deserves it. But what has struck me most isn’t just the beauty (though the mountains are spectacular). It’s the feeling of being somewhere that still moves at its own pace.

Travel doesn’t always have to be about seeing everything. Sometimes the best trips happen when you give yourself the time to really get to know a place.

If Albania is on your radar this year, I’d love to help you experience it the right way. DM me and let’s chat.

Have you ever traveled somewhere slowly enough that it completely changed how you experienced it?

Summer travel is already taking shape, and the travelers who plan early are the ones enjoying the magic without the chaos. Think fewer crowds, better hotels, and those little perks that make a trip feel effortless.

If summer travel is on your mind, now is the moment to start planning. The best hotels, guides, and experiences are already booking up. This is exactly when a travel advisor makes the biggest difference.

Right now I’m scouting in Albania (and trust me… it deserves a spot on your radar), counting down the days until I’m cruising the Greek Islands next month, and reminiscing about past summers in Portugal and the June I spent sailing on a yacht in the Galápagos Islands.

One thing we may all be guilty of? Travelers wait too long, prices climb, and they end up in the most crowded corners of the destinations they were hoping would feel special.

The best summer trips aren’t always about finding a completely undiscovered place. They’re about timing, strategy, and knowing where to look, things I spend a lot of time helping my clients navigate.

Swipe for a few destinations I’m especially excited about this summer: Montenegro, Albania, Portugal, the Greek Islands, the South of France, South Africa, and the Galápagos Islands.

If one of these destinations caught your eye, send me a DM or use the link in my bio to start planning. I’m currently designing summer itineraries for clients and would love to help you lock in the right trip before the best options are gone.

Have you visited any of these destinations? 🌍

POV: You moved to Albania and your random Tuesday looks like this 🇦🇱

06:00 – Wake up for sunrise over the Ionian08:00 – Waterfront walk to the gym08:30(ish) – CrossFit class .19_ (because time is… flexible here 😉)10:00 – Oat milk latte at my favorite café in Vlorë 11:00 – Breakfast + client work with a sea breeze16:00 – Aperol Spritz by the water, waiting on sunset17:30 – Healthy dinner at home

Proof that “workday” and “Mediterranean lifestyle” can coexist beautifully.

One of the unexpected perks of building a location-flexible business in travel? You don’t just plan beautiful lives for your clients. You design your own, too.

If this is your sign to rethink where (and how) you live and work… I know a few places.
