Sometimes the hardest decisions are the ones made in service of a bigger vision. After careful consideration, we have decided to move the inaugural Ghana Girls to the World Education and Cultural Exchange in Philadelphia to Spring 2027.

While we are disappointed that our girls will not travel this month, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. We will deepen preparation, strengthen partnerships, expand fundraising, and build an even stronger foundation for a program designed to create lasting impact.

Most importantly, the timeline has changed, but the mission has not. Ghana Girls to the World is about leadership, cultural exchange, wellness, sports engagement, global citizenship, and helping girls see themselves as leaders in an interconnected world. Over the coming months, we will continue investing in girls through mentorship, leadership development, virtual exchanges, and meaningful opportunities for growth from Kumasi to Ho to Philly.

To our girls, families, partners, donors, and supporters: thank you for believing in this vision and answering the call. We remain committed to the vision and invite you to partner with us, donate, and help send a girl on this life-changing journey.

Today on Menstrual Hygiene Day, we recognize that menstrual health is about dignity, wellness, education, and opportunity.

Across Africa and throughout the diaspora, too many girls still face stigma, silence, and lack of access to the support they need. Black girls everywhere deserve safe spaces, accurate health education, and the freedom to thrive confidently.

Let’s break stigma. Build knowledge. Support every girl. My Voice. My Body. My Power.

Mothers plant seeds that grow.

Happy Mother’s Day to all those who have birthed, nurtured, planted, watered, spoken words of affirmation, encouraged, pruned, covered, and prayed for children that have become adults, and modeled how to do the same, creating ripples of love across generations. Holding space as well for those missing their mothers today. 🫶🏿

Today is a day of uplifting those seeds, the love, and the legacy they continue to carry forward. 🌻

's signature youth initiative, My Voice My Body My Power, traveled to Ho last week with our dedicated partner . We shared menstrual health and hygiene, mental health and coping skills, and confidence programming with 30 girls from their network of partner schools in the region. 💜

It was also our inaugural collaboration with , where the girls learned the fundamentals of flag football. 🏈

We know that when sports, youth development, and education come together, outcomes can shift. When girls’ voices are heard and they have safe spaces to be, anything is possible! We are building bridges across cultures.
