Ship Watcher Update | Farewell Cambridge, Baltimore Bound!
After an incredible visit to Cambridge, PRIDE II is back underway & sailing home for the week ahead of the upcoming Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race.
PRIDE II departed Cambridge earlier this morning & is now underway near the mouth of the Choptank River. With a breezy forecast, NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt late this morning & afternoon. The plan is for the crew to set sail & go for a rip on the Chesapeake Bay. Our estimated arrival is this evening around 6 PM depending on conditions.
Special thank you to City of Cambridge, Richardson Maritime Museum, Alpha Genesis CDC, & Blacks of the Chesapeake for collaborating with us for a successful visit. Cheers to all who joined us for a deck tour or day sail.
Looking for a last minute adventure? We still have open spots on the following upcoming guest crew passages:
Norfolk to Solomons | October 18-22
Solomons to Chestertown | October 25-29
