JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa True story: My client who went on this trip is elderly and she hadn’t downloaded the airline app like I asked. Earlier this week, the night before the flight to go to SXM, there was a flight change late at night. I called her to make sure she saw it and she hadn’t downloaded the app and she hadn’t . I asked her to do it and she got flustered and irritable. She said she would go to her daughter’s house to have her download it and help her. I get it. Technology can be annoying to the elderly. I calmed her down, told her to breathe and walked her through the process. Easy peezy! So, the next time someone says, “why a travel agent?” This is just one of the reasons why.

Thank you! My repeat clients are literally the best and they force me to up my goodie bag items! I’m literally not complaining. You guys are amazing!! In this economy, I appreciate every one of you! You keep me on my toes. Thank you.

My favorite island is Grand Cayman. It’s so peaceful and laid back. We call the ocean color Cayman Blue. The only thing I don’t like about the island is the caste system. You’re either rich or poor there. There’s no in between but it has a heavy Jamaican influence.

It’s one thing my clients will tell you…I don’t play about them. You not going to do my clients wrong and not hear from me. I will go to the top of your organization to make it right! A few weeks ago a resort did my clients dirty. I posted about it. Yesterday they made it right! I got exactly what I asked for, for all 10 of them! Vacations are investments. This economy is not the time to play with peoples investments. I appreciate every single in of you because my business is nothing without you. For that reason, I’m going to always go toe to toe with any corporation for you! That’s why when people ask why should they use a travel agent…I laugh. I am your advocate before, during and after any vacation. Think of me as your fairy god mother! I got it! You relax! There millions of travel agents but I am thankful that you guys continuously allow me ti serve you and thereby allowing my business to thrive! TravelGodMother

Things happen, flights get cancelled, expectations get shattered and you have to roll with the punches. After my clients experienced a cancelled flight due to crew issues their anticipated trip got delayed by a day. Thank you to Paris Shuttle One (www.parishuttle.com) for working with me to get my clients accommodated on a new schedule. Thank you to the hotel and your employee, Thomas who made sure that my clients room would still be there when they checked in a day later than expected. This family started their vacation in New York for 2 days and are in Paris for 2 more and then they hope to Spain for three days before they board a cruise for a week! 🫶🏽
