Some cities are beautiful.

Berlin is intriguing.

Cold War scars beside contemporary art. Brutalist concrete catching the evening light. Graffiti-covered walls, underground clubs, Turkish markets, flea markets, cyclists, skaters, artists, commuters and strangers moving through the frame.

Berlin is a city of contradictions, gritty and glamorous, historic and rebellious, raw and refined.

And for a street photographer, that tension is irresistible.

In May 2027, photographers Justin Black and Julia Keil invite just six photographers to join them for an immersive week of street photography in one of Europe’s most visually compelling capitals.

There are now only TWO spaces left.

This isn't a large group tour where you’re handed an itinerary and left to find the photographs yourself.

It’s a deliberately small, highly personal workshop designed around seeing, photographing, learning and responding to the city together.

We’ll photograph from the first light of morning through golden hour and into Berlin after dark, moving through some of the city’s most fascinating neighborhoods:

And then there’s Berlin after dark…

Neon. Reflections. Döner stands. Shadows. Bars. Rain-slick streets. Silhouettes.

The city takes on another personality.

Previous participants have described their workshops as “amazing,” “fabulous,” and an experience where they “learned a great deal” while making lasting friendships along the way.

May 18–26, 2027.

Only TWO spaces remain.

I always like to see this Neon sign in Merced. It speaks to older more simple times, but the message is clear. U SAVE Yosemite. There have always been threats, which is why the park was formed. But the encroachments on our public lands are ever increasing and this latest proposed land swap deal stinks. Write your representatives.
No land swap. No new roads to let a fancy resort have exclusive entrance to the park. Hell no.

Been thinking about photographing jaguars in the wild?

Consider this your sign.

In just TWO WEEKS, we head into the Brazilian Pantanal for what we believe is the world’s finest jaguar photography experience, bar none.

And yes, there is still time to grab one of the remaining spaces.

This isn’t a wildlife safari where you cross your fingers and hope something interesting appears.

The Pantanal has the highest density of jaguars anywhere in the world, and our custom-designed photo boats take us deep into the Jaguar Zone, where these magnificent cats can be seen hunting, swimming, courting, caring for cubs, patrolling their territory and sometimes doing something completely unexpected.

Our privileged location at Jaguar Suites, right in the heart of the action, means less time commuting and more time with the cats. We’ll spend up to eight hours a day on the water, in small groups with plenty of room to photograph.

And the jaguars aren't the only stars.

Expect giant otters, tapirs, caiman, giant anteaters, coatis, hyacinth macaws, toucans, capuchin monkeys and an astonishing array of Pantanal wildlife.

Leading the expedition is renowned wildlife photographer Chris Linder, who will provide hands-on guidance and instruction throughout the trip.

So if you're looking for a last-minute adventure, a serious wildlife photography opportunity, or simply an excuse to escape to one of the wildest places on Earth…

This is it.

His thoughtful, hands-on teaching helps photographers not only capture incredible wildlife encounters but also create stronger, more compelling images through refined composition, storytelling and creative vision.
