Thank you to the Women In Technology Regatta Seattle 2021 for presenting such a profound conference the last two weeks. The sessions were full of great content, jewels, and tips for so many layers on how women exceed and preserve in tech. We are looking forward to implementing all the lessons learned.

Finally!!! Apple release a tracking opt-out option in the new iOS 14.5
update.

What does this mean for you?

iPhone users can now decide what data they want to share with the new App Tracking Transparency feature. With each app, you will be promoted to select whether or not you want your data to be shared with other third parties.

This is huge!!!! Companies have been leveraging users data without their knowledge or permission for years. Hopefully this move by Apple will promote more action and accountability in data protection and privacy across tech industry.

Mae C. Jemison is an American astronaut and physician who, on June 4, 1987, became the first African American woman to be admitted into NASA’s astronaut training program. On September 12, 1992, Jemison finally flew into space with six other astronauts aboard the Endeavour on mission STS47, becoming the first African American woman in space. In recognition of her accomplishments, Jemison has received several awards and honorary doctorates.
