BREAKING NEWS! - haha trying to get your attention. I was too late to get rooms booked for a Christmas market tour in 2026 (river cruises are much smaller ships and you must decide fast, as I learned) So I have booked space on the Christmastime on the Danube in 2027 Dec. 15 - 21st to get the best price - $3365.00. We will cruise from Vienna through Austria to Germany ending in Regensburg, Germany. I hope to spend a few days pre-trip in Vienna. Happy New Year! Another year has flown by and I luckily, topped it off with a fantastic Christmas Market River Cruise through Switzerland, France and Germany. It was just magical. Even though we didn't have snow (like in 2023) it was super. Sorry for the # of pictures but each one brought such fun memories. Thinking of the Danube (Austria and Germany) next year?

Next is one of my favorite days - Cooking Class with the very charming chef at Montese Cooking Experience, Mauro. It is a day of learning the fun way to make pasta, sauce, bread and dessert with a big dose of wine. Weather was fantastic, scenery gorgeous, company fun and our dinner was delish!

We just returned from another fabulous group tour to Tuscany.. weather fantastic and a fun group. First day we pay our respects to the American WW2 soldiers buried at American cemetery outside Florence Italy. We stay for the lowering of the Flag, playing of taps and having any veterans on the group help fold the flag. Very moving ceremony.

I'm planning on checking off a couple more of my "bucket" list places (Normandy Beaches, France Chateaux country and more.

Back on the east coast of Ireland today at one of our group's hometowns, Donaghdee. Beautiful place on the coast full of interesting history.

Did an evening boat tour off the western coast of Ireland from Westport a few days ago. Gorgeous evening, passed lots of islands, some with seals sunbathing. My pictures don't do it justice. Went past an island that John Lennon had bought and was going to build a house on not too long before he was killed. The scenery was beautiful and the stories and history were very interesting.

Have lots of pictures but posting a few not in order of when we did it. In Donegal city today after having a driver take us for a drive along the coast and past waterfalls, loads of sheep etc. Again so lucky with perfect sunny days
