The Washington State Ferries celebrates its 75th birthday this coming Monday, June 1st! I love taking images of the ferries here on the west side of the Cascades. I will be sharing a few of my favorites over this week leading up to the day that marks that day in 1951 when WA state took over ferry operations from the Puget Sound Navigation Company (Black Ball Line). Do you have a favorite ferry image? KShields Photography

Spokane is glowing GREEN and NAMI Spokane is here for it! 🟢✨
The iconic Spokane Clock Tower is lit up green this week in honor of Prevention Week (May 11–17) and Behavioral Health Awareness Month — and it is a sight to see!
Head downtown tonight and take it in for yourself. And while you're out, stop by one of our Gather for Good pop-ups happening at local breweries all week long! Grab a drink, connect with your community, and pick up some local mental health resources while you're there.
Because when Spokane shows up for mental health — we show up TOGETHER. 💚

HELP WANTED 🙂 This page is comprised of a group of volunteer photographers that share images of their corner of Washington. We are looking to add some new photographers to our group. Here is more information about this opportunity. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please message us with links to your social media and photography pages. Thank you!

Everything Washington photographers do not receive any payment for sharing their images. Benefits include 100,000+ followers seeing and sharing your work, with captions linked back to your website or FB page.

Your images should true to the scene with a minimum of filters and effects.

All of your images will be posted by you onto the Everything Washington timeline (no sharing from your own page).

You’ll be expected to post at least one image per week (depending on how busy life becomes), preferably at least two to three.
We prefer that our photographers have a wide variety of images—including natural landscapes, town scenics, outdoor events, as well as some wildlife and nature close-ups.
