This is a banner and logo I designed for a swim program in Waupun (my hometown). The Start Out Safe water program was developed in memory and spirit of my cousin, Candace Wojahn. After Candace passed away in 2007 due to an epileptic episode, my aunt, uncle and Candace's siblings created an endowment fund to finance this program. The program is in its 10th year this year!

Last year I was given a project to create an image for a headstone and it was just recently installed in its forever home. I loved this project because it's a forever project, it meant a lot to the family and it challenged me. The family provided a couple photos of Belinda along with some ASL hands spelling her name that they wanted to include on the headstone. I thought the red and black photo of her was stunning, but I had to edit it to give her two shoulders so she was facing forward. I'm so happy with how it turned out for them!
