Ladies, it's that time of year again! The most wonderful time of the year.....TDF!!!!
I have been reading that Ravelry is having some problems and new accounts are not going through right now, so I can run simultaneously through FB as well for anyone who wants to join in but doesn't have a Ravelry acct.
Kick off July 6th and spin through July 28th.
Set your own goals. This is not a competition with each other, but a way to challenge yourself.
My goal is to actually spin daily, even for 10 min.! Yes, that little bit will be an accomplishment for me.
I'll be spinning fiber from my Combo-Spin spin along we did like 2 years ago and I never finished. Yes, it's been that long for me.
I will be offering a prize, not sure what yet....anyone think a new project bag would be fun??
No TDF colorway offered again this year, so spin what you have on hand. This is always a good time to challenge ourselves to spin from stash.
So if you want to join in, either get on the Team Poopsy thread on Ravelry, or comment below with your goals.

Is anyone doing TDF? Starts tomorrow if you're interested. I've been thinking about what I'll be spinning this year. This will be the first time in several years that we don't have an official team but we do have a thread on Ravelry if anyone wants to join in with us. I have tons to do today and tonight will be pulling fiber and making lists! So much fun.

I'd like to thank everyone who came out for our Christmas Open House in the Grainary this weekend. The snacks were wonderful and so were our guests! We'll be adding more items as we make them. New primitive ornaments are ready to be put on the tree this week, as the tree was pretty well cleaned off over the weekend and new candles are nearly packaged and ready for display as well! We are back up and running after nearly a year of being closed and open Thurs-Sat, 11-4, however, on Sat. we'll be at the Wellington Christmas Craft Show in the Town Hall so we'll be closed that day. This is my first time there, but I'm told it's a very nice show. I'll have a small sampling from the shop but only small items since I'll only have an 8' table to display on. I'll try to post some photos this week, but need to reload my software since my hd fried and I lost everything! This is why some of you did not receive an invitation this year. I've been entering the new mailing lists into the computer and burning the hard copies. This is the reason why we need to back up our computers, by the way. Even though the awesome Metro Computers in Amherst was able to save most of my files, all of my programs are gone and I didn't have time to reload anything so I had to just use a very old mailing list that I had stashed away in my desk. Lesson learned!
I'd also like to thank Jean Crawford and Linnea Satterfield for helping me out with flyers and online promotion. Good friends are so much appreciated. Thank you girls!

I'd like to invite all of you to our 27th annual Christmas Open House this weekend at The Grainary. Housed in our 19th century granary building, we offer primitives, hand dipped candles, other candles, soaps, stained glass, Christmas decorations and florals, and gifts for the spinner and knitter! Hope to see you all there!
By the way, I've had a hard drive fry so I've been offline for a few weeks.
