Guess I'm the one making mistakes now .
The whole industry is tired now , atleast down here since we've been running none stop all winter .
I've personally done give or take 3.5 million pounds worth of material this winter & spring.
Anyways im glad its slowing down somewhat eventhough its prime time for most Evergreens.

Over the last few years I've been supplying material for solar farm buffers.
As alot of us in the industry have been doing with very large numbers of plants.
This is where that pain in *** truck went this morning.
Crew sent me photos and they already planted & staked the whole load by dark this evening.

Seems the whole east coast is dry .
Some farms in NC clay belt region can't even get the spades in the ground for digging if they needed too.
I'd say even if you'll needed anything of course choose pre dug material or consult with us first for best options.
Some types of material is located in creek bottom areas that could be dug if needed.
Most Evergreens are flushing now so be time we do get rain it may be best to wait for new growth to harden off a little anyways.
Some growers are loosing or have lost this years planting of liners due to no water source.
Anyways do a rain dance if you'll could for the whole Agriculture and Horticulture industry from corn to trees needs some.

Just know if I had a Tree hauling rig it would be a 55ft Aluminum Drop deck with a sliding air lift axle .... With 2"x6" wooden side rails and the top deck would have 4x8ft 1" pressure treated plywood sides and front..
And 99% of the time we would lay everything forward using the step up as a leaning post and would have outdoor carpet for protection.

We have 7 trucks trying for 8 pulling out of 4 farms for 5 customer's going too SC , Wash DC , MD and NY this week . Hauling everything from Oaks , Maples , lilac , Cherry , Kousa , Ginkgo , Black gum , Crab Apple , American Holly , Amer Boxwood , Nellie & Mary Nell Holly along with big beautiful Natchez crepes .. All while trying to set up next week's runs.

This week's runs will certainly put us at hauling over 3 million pounds of material this digging season .
No doubt set another record.

People who are still giving growers deciduous tree orders to be dug are only slowing professionals down.
I have hollys etc that should have been dug this week.
That's ok after talking it over with a few growers new digging tree orders stop today..
If you weren't smart enough to think ahead digging trees when they are in dormancy you don't deserve to get them in the first place.
Sure crepe myrtle , oaks and predug material don't count but gezze .
I don't care if there's snow on the ground should have brought trees in holding yards over the last two months not right now.
