After several days of meetings, networking, and learning at L.E/Miami, I am leaving inspired, energized, and more committed than ever to bringing exceptional travel experiences to my clients.

Over the past several days, I had the opportunity to meet one on one with tourism boards, luxury hotels, destination management companies, and travel partners from across the globe, including Jamaica, Barbados, Croatia, Spain, Malta, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Tahiti, Greece, Argentina, Guatemala, and many more.

These conversations provide far more than brochures and websites. They offer destination insights, firsthand knowledge, and strong partnerships that ultimately create better experiences for the clients who trust me with their travel plans.

I was also excited to connect with industry leaders in the sports and entertainment space, helping expand opportunities through Wishful Escapes Athletics for premium sporting events and unique fan experiences.

Events like L.E/Miami reinforce the importance of continuous learning, meaningful networking, and staying connected to the people and brands shaping the future of travel.

Even if you are not planning to fly anytime soon, go ahead and get your Real ID!

Life happens unexpectedly. If there’s ever an emergency and you need to catch a flight quickly for a funeral, family emergency, or last minute trip, you’ll need a passport or a Real ID to board a domestic flight. Without one, you could end up paying extra fees and dealing with unnecessary stress at the airport.

Being prepared makes traveling so much easier. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Everyone wants tacos and margaritas for Cinco de Mayo…but do you actually know what you’re celebrating?🇲🇽

Here’s the quick breakdown: Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexico’s Independence Day (that’s September 16th ).

It actually commemorates the Battle of Puebla, when a smaller Mexican army defeated the powerful French forces on May 5, 1862.

Now here’s the twist…It’s a bigger deal in the United States than in most parts of Mexico. In Mexico, it’s mainly celebrated in Puebla with parades and reenactments.

In the U.S., it has evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture, heritage, food, and music.
