With so many destinations in the world, people always ask me why I chose Tanzania for this group experience.

Here's my honest answer:

Tanzania is home to the Serengeti — the most iconic wildlife ecosystem on the planet. It's where the Great Migration happens. Where all five of the Big Five roam free. There are TWO kinds of travel protection — and most people only know about one.

① Trip cost — travel insurance. Protects the money you'd lose if you cancel.
② You — medical evacuation. Protects your life if something happens to your body out there.

They are not the same thing. A medical evacuation from somewhere remote can cost $100,000+ — and travel insurance was never built to cover it.

Most travelers go their whole lives not knowing these are two separate things.
