In just a few weeks, we will be heading out to explore the Badlands and Black Hills of South Dakota! We've got just 2 spots available on one of the tours, June 20-27th. Want to join us? Despite some wind and low water in the Colorado River, our Moab basecamp at Gold Bar was still spectacular… especially at night! We were surrounded by golden canyons at dusk and dawn and the sky was full of stars! We transferred into town halfway through the tour to have a few more amenities. Both campsites worked out great! (Except for that early morning dump truck, but what can you do?! 😂😂)

Moab has so much to offer beyond Arches and Canyonlands. Canyons that lead to petroglyph panels and secret arches, beautiful blooming wildflowers and cacti, and even dinosaur tracks! Besides hiking, our guests rafted on the Colorado and zip lined over the slick rock. We watched other groups rappel off an arch, some off-roaders, mountain bikers and even some sky divers! There is something for everyone in Moab! What a great week!

We had a perfect day to take in the vistas in Canyonland’s Island in the Sky District and Dead Horse Point State Park. We were surrounded by the snow capped peaks of the La Sals, The Henry Mountains and even the San Juan’s in South western Colorado. The layers of sandstone the Colorado and Green Rivers have carved are truly stunning!

Arches National Park is always amazing! We spent a couple of days exploring Devil‘s Garden, Balance Rock, Park Avenue, and the Windows area.  We hiked among arches and other fascinating red rock formations, and colorful wildflowers. The skies were very dramatic as the clouds brought some much needed rain to the area.

Wow! It felt great to be back in our old home base town of Moab, UT for a week trip with a special group. Still love those red rocks, arches, mountains and the Moab vibe. Our tour began with an incredible scenic drive along the Colorado River and a hike to Bow tie and Corona arches after setting up our basecamp along the Colorado.

Hiking! Yes there is definitely GREAT hiking in South Dakota. Whether you follow the trail up to Black Elk Peak in the heart of Custer State Park, saunter around Devil's Tower, or trek through Badlands National Park, you are sure to love these trails and the sights they take you to! Our First week (June 14-20) is almost full, but we have spots left on the June 21-27th week! Come join us!
