What a perfect day at Devil’s Tower National Monument! The colors of the sky and wildflowers, the sounds of the birds and chirping of the prairie dogs, and even the smell of the sweet clover all filled our senses! Thanks Mother Nature for the great day!

Sometimes, we get to be the passenger on someone else's trip. Last week I spent 6 fantastic days paddling in the Allagash Wilderness Waterway with some friends including AB driver Bill from Far Out Maine! It just made me that much more excited to be offering a canoe trip of our own coming up in July, our Maine Rangeley Canoe Adventure! There are still some spots available. It's a great opportunity to gain some confidence in your canoeing and camping skills while soaking up the beauty of Maine's lakes and forests! Come join us!

Despite some wind and low water in the Colorado River, our Moab basecamp at Gold Bar was still spectacular… especially at night! We were surrounded by golden canyons at dusk and dawn and the sky was full of stars! We transferred into town halfway through the tour to have a few more amenities. Both campsites worked out great! (Except for that early morning dump truck, but what can you do?! 😂😂)

Moab has so much to offer beyond Arches and Canyonlands. Canyons that lead to petroglyph panels and secret arches, beautiful blooming wildflowers and cacti, and even dinosaur tracks! Besides hiking, our guests rafted on the Colorado and zip lined over the slick rock. We watched other groups rappel off an arch, some off-roaders, mountain bikers and even some sky divers! There is something for everyone in Moab! What a great week!
