Our trip to Walt Disney World in Florida is coming up later this week!

We’re both packed and ready to go, but we’re trying something new this time around and using only carry-on bags for our flight. This is the first time we’ve skipped checking bags, and I’m curious how it will work out.

What about you - are you team “carry-on” or team “checked bags” when you travel?

Our trip to Walt Disney World starts in 7 days, so this morning’s task was securing Lightning Lane Multi Pass reservations.

You may ask - what is a Lightning Lane Multi Pass? They allow you to skip the standby line at certain attractions and join a much shorter (usually) line to help save time at the parks.

You can choose up to 3 attractions at a time, and are given an arrival window to ride each of your selected rides. Once you use one of your Lightning Lanes, you can book a new time for a different attraction.

Is there a cost to purchasing Lightning Lanes? There is, but the amount of time you can save makes it a wise investment.

I’m especially excited for this particular one…can’t wait to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with its’ new Muppet theme!

The countdown for our next Walt Disney World vacation is under 10 days, and we're super excited to share all the details with you! Two of the parks' biggest rides are getting major updates tomorrow that we're especially looking forward to!

Soarin' Across America makes its' debut in EPCOT - this limited time journey honors the heart and spirit of the nation as it soars into its 250th birthday celebration.

Also - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster makes its' debut with a new theme....the Muppets! You'll step inside G-Force Records for a VIP tour of the Muppets' music studio where the Electric Mayhem is jamming out. Hop into a limosine and buckle up for a zany ride past the Muppets' favorite Hollywood landmarks.

The countdown is officially on!

Next month we’ll be traveling down to Florida for our first kid-free Disney vacation. There are SO MANY new things that will be opening in the next month that we can’t wait to share with you 😊

Happy 28th Anniversary to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This theme park has everything from thrilling roller coasters (Expedition Everest), amazing shows (Festival of the Lion King) and one of a kind rides that transport you to a different world (Avatar Flight of Passage).

More big news coming from Walt Disney World in Florida - after being closed for refurbishment since January of 2025, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be re-opening on May 3rd!

Known as the “wildest ride in the wilderness”, it will now have a new track and updated ride vehicles to give guests an amazing experience during their visit to the Magic Kingdom.

Have you heard about all the exciting updates coming to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in the coming weeks? There’s so many things to talk about, but the first major update happens later this week!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has been refurbished and will be opening later this week. There will be new interactive targets, new hand held blasters that will help in your quest to save the galaxy!
