Good evening! So did anyone get the answer to the calorie question? Since everyone is different, the answer is all over. So for a woman in her late 50s, early 60s, and weighing 190 to 200 pounds and 5’ 10”, moderately active can eat approximately 2000 calories per day to maintain her weight. To lose weight, using the same factors, a woman can eat 1600-1800 calories a day. 1600 calories represents an aggressive campaign to lose weight.

Good morning! Did you know that walking, swimming, biking and hiking, dancing, to name just a few, 30 minutes 5 days a week can lower your blood sugar? So if you are pre-diabetic, you still have time to lower your blood glucose level by exercising regularly.

If you are already diabetic, exercising can still lower your glucose levels. If for some reason you have troubles moving around the house and exercising, consider dancing in your chair. Turn on your music and move to the beat.
