What a special day!
Josey has been a student of ours for quite some time now, and watching her grow into such a wonderful young horsewoman has been incredibly special. Today, we got to celebrate her birthday a little early and give her the biggest surprise!
Several months ago, Josey’s parents purchased Phoenix as her birthday present, and since then, we’ve had the privilege of working with both Josey and Phoenix together. The best part? Josey had absolutely NO IDEA that she had been riding her very own horse this entire time! 🥹
Over the past few months, Josey has slowly fallen completely in love with Phoenix. Almost every lesson, she would tell me, “I want a horse just like Phoenix.” If only she knew! 😂❤️ Keeping this secret has been SO hard!
Today, Josey finally found out that the horse she had been learning, growing, and creating a bond with all along was hers. Watching that moment unfold was one we’ll never forget. 🥹
These are the moments that remind us why we love what we do. Being trusted to play even a small part in a child’s journey with horses is such an incredible privilege, and getting to witness the joy, confidence, and love that horses can bring into someone’s life is truly priceless.
Congratulations on your very first horse, Miss Josey! We are so excited to watch the two of you continue to grow together and make countless memories. ❤️🐴
