Jay and I are in PGA National Resort for the Owners Focus Retreat hosted by NEST. We’ve spent time networking with other agency owners, learning from an incredible keynote speaker, and picking up fresh ideas to keep growing The Travel Ju**ie.
And of course… we made sure to balance the work with a little golf, some spa time, and soaking in the Florida sunshine.

At the beginning of this year, we decided to stop waiting for “someday”…
and completely changed how we live and work.
We sold our house and moved into an RV full-time.
Yep—full-time.
Since the beginning of the year, we’ve been on the road, exploring new places, learning as we go, and honestly… figuring it out one stop at a time.
Right now, we’re actually settled in for a bit in Foxborough for the summer—helping out locally and soaking in this area. So if you’re seeing a lot of content from here… that’s why.
And this stop feels a little extra special.
Jay is originally from Massachusetts, so this is home for him. We’ve also been able to spend time with his brother, who lives about an hour away in Connecticut—something we haven’t been able to do in a while.
Why did we do it?
Because we believe in what we sell.
Travel isn’t just something we book for others—it’s something we want to live, experience, and understand on a deeper level so we can serve our clients even better.
Now, I’ll be real with you—this lifestyle isn’t all sunsets and scenic views.
The pros so far:
• Slowing down and being more intentional with our time
• Getting to truly experience a destination instead of just passing through
• A deeper connection to the places we visit.
A whole new level of freedom
The cons (because there are definitely some):
• Learning curves… lots of them 😅
Weather planning is now a real thing.
• Smaller space = less privacy
• Things don’t always go according to plan
But through all of it, one thing hasn’t changed…
The Travel Ju**ie is still fully up and running.
We now have an incredible team of 17 advisors based in Wichita, Kansas who are available for in-person meetings if that’s something you prefer.
And for those who love the flexibility of virtual planning—we’re still right here, just with a different view outside our window.
At the end of the day, this journey is making us better at what we do.
More experienced. More adaptable. More connected to the idea of travel as a lifestyle—not just a vacation.

A quick, heartfelt note from The Travel Ju**ie for anyone traveling in Mexico right now 🇲🇽 — especially those connected to Puerto Vallarta, and our travelers headed to Cancún / Riviera Maya or Los Cabos.

Today’s situation in Puerto Vallarta / Jalisco is heavy, and our hearts are with the families and travelers impacted. We’re seeing widespread disruptions, including flight suspensions/cancellations and urgent guidance to shelter in place in affected areas.

Here’s what we want you to know:

Quintana Roo (Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel, Riviera Maya) continues operating normally for tourism, and the current U.S. advisory level remains Level 2 (exercise increased caution) — similar to many popular destinations.

Los Cabos is also operating normally at this time, with no specific active threats broadly reported in the resort zones.

If you or someone you love is currently in Puerto
Vallarta:

Follow official instructions on the ground (airport/airline staff, hotel security, local authorities, and U.S./Canadian guidance).
Stay put, stay connected, and avoid movement until you’ve confirmed safe routes and transportation availability.

If your flight is impacted, we’ll help you rebook, reroute, or extend stays as needed — you’re not navigating this alone.
